Was part of the team that performed the first successful heart transplantation in India in 1994.

Designed and developed over 50 surgical instruments used in cardiac surgery.
Performed the world’s youngest bypass surgery with coronary aneurysm repair on an 18-month-old child in 2007.
Conducted India’s first extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) procedure in 2000.
Used the harmonic scalpel for radial and internal mammary artery conduit harvesting for the first time in India in 1995.
