Dr. Sharon Borik

Dr. Sharon Borik is a distinguished physician specializing in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology. Since 2017, she has led the Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Institute at Sheba Medical Center. Dr. Borik completed her medical education at the Hebrew University & Hadassah School of Medicine and underwent residency in Pediatrics at Sheba Medical Center. She further honed her expertise with fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Interventional Cardiology at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), University of Toronto. Dr. Borik's clinical interests encompass pioneering new interventions, optimizing and standardizing outcomes in pediatric interventional cardiology, and advancing techniques to minimize radiation exposure in the Cathlab.
