Over 35 years of surgical experience, including early adoption of laparoscopy (1990), advanced laparoscopy (1997), single-incision laparoscopy (2010), bariatric surgery (2004), robotic surgery (2012), and bariatric endoscopy (2018).
Completed FRCS in 1990 and served at Charing Cross Medical School, London, where he was part of the team pioneering laparoscopic surgery.
Joined Apollo Hospitals in 1996 as one of the youngest senior consultants.
First-generation pioneer of Advanced GI Laparoscopy, Thoracoscopy, SILS, Bariatric, and Robotic Surgery in India.
Performed over 6000 laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries and 2,000+ laparoscopic hernia surgeries with published techniques in leading medical journals.
