He completed his orthopaedic training and advanced specialization at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai.
He received fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and the University of Florida.
He has performed more than 1250 surgical procedures and treated over 1000 cases of bone and soft tissue tumors.
He currently practices Orthopaedic Oncology at HCG Cancer Centre and has previously served as a consultant at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital.
