Prof./Dr. Amitai Ziv

Prof./Dr. Amitai Ziv, is a highly respected pediatrician and healthcare leader, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Sheba Medical Center. He is also the Director of Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Medical Education at Sheba, and heads the Sheba Rehabilitation Hospital. Prof. Ziv received his medical degree from Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem and completed his training in pediatrics at Hadassah Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania Children's Hospital. A pioneer in medical simulation, he established the Israel Center for Medical Simulation (MSR) and has consulted internationally on clinical skills assessment programs. Prof. Ziv is widely recognized for his contributions to medical education and patient safety. He holds adjunct associate professor positions at the Mayo Clinic and Case Western Reserve University.
