Prof. Nezih Meydan completed his compulsory medical service in Artvin from 1991 to 1993 where he provided general medical care to patients.
He worked at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine between 1993 and 1998 gaining extensive clinical experience.
From 1998 to 2001, he served as a Specialist Doctor in the Adult Hematology-Oncology Department at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine.
He joined Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology Division from 2001 to 2006.
He was promoted to Associate Professor at Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine where he served from 2006 to 2011.
Between 2011 and 2021, he worked as Professor in the Medical Oncology Division at Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine.
Since 2021, he has been serving as Professor of Medical Oncology at Medicana International Istanbul Hospital providing advanced cancer care and treatment.
